Mi amigo, El Fantasma, parte II. (My Friend, The Ghost part II)

My operation to discover the ghost soon reach the ears of my uncles and of course you can imagine what happened.

Uncle Carlos (in the picture) lent me a flashlight, but he warned me that it was a risky business because the house had several broken steps and I could fall into one of them. It did not seem much, but I obbey him.

At that time we all lived in the Old House and of the Oxen, which is some feet away. My grandfather Charles, who was by then widowed of grandmother Carmen, had heard of the ghost. No wonder, he had been responsible of preserving the family´s archive and clearly, either from here or there, something would come to him.

The neighbors were not ignorant of the subject.

Don Marcos, Cele's brother, our neighbor, he was more than aware. Doña Amparo also close neighbor and relative, something commented. Don Tomason same, and our friends Armando and his wife Tere from the store also knew. Is it what happens when you live so close together, but luckily these are good people and keep quiet when they should. Even our priest Vitori was interested in the wandering soul. Seemed like all the village knew about it, dammit!

Well, my mission was still secret and very soon, I would be prepared to go to meet the ghost.
