Doku

Oh, señor.
Rey de la tristeza,
sangre de la esencía
que viaja en el corazón.

Oscuro proposito
que hasta aquí te trae.
De los que tu nombre
evocan, ignorantes.

Luna oscura,
ácido del egoismo
y alquimista del alma.

Tú llevas la sinrazón
y las culebras de la ira
que muerden sin avisar.

Veneno es tu nombre
y la oscuridad, tu religión.

Oh, lord.
King of sorrow,
Blood of the essence
riding in the heart.

Dark purpose
That brings you here.
From those your name
Evoke unaware.

Dark Moon,
Selfishness acid
And alchemist of the soul.

You bear unreason
And snakes of anger
That bite unannounced.

Poison is your name
And darkness, your faith.

El Hombre de la Luna (Mani)

Sentado en el brillo dorado,
con la vista puesta
en todos los que sueñan,
en todos los que descansan.

Barco de los cielos sin un rumbo,
capitán de nave de arena
que hace de cada noche,
una nueva aventura.

A vista de pájaro,
despierta a tu tripulación de estrellas;
ojos de oro,
pintor de sueños,
recuérdame colores desconocidos.
Esas velas te llevaran muy alto,
lejos de tantas mareas,
échale una carrera al viento, al sol,
Hombre de la Luna.

Sobre corrientes de risa y pena,
abajo queda un mundo de tormenta.
Atravesando rayos y truenos,
a cualquier rincón del universo.

Pajaritas de arena, acuarela,
mímica, sonrisa, palabra y pincel.
Llena tus ojos de cometas
que te traen a mí.

Estribillo

Entre el cielo y la tierra,
la imaginación encuentra barco
montada sobre tus velas,
sentada a tu lado.

Estribillo

Sitting in the golden glow,
With one eye
For all who dream,
For all that rest.

Ship of Heaven without a heading,
Sand ship captain
That makes each night,
A whole new adventure.

Bird's eye view
Wake up your crew of stars.
Golden eyes,
Painter of dreams,
Remind me unknown colors.
These sails will take you high,
Tides are so far,
Race the wind, race the sun,
Man on the Moon.

Over streams of pain n´laughter,
Below is a world of storm.
Crossing thunder and lightning,
To any corner of the universe.

Bowties, sand, watercolor,
Mime, smile, word and brush.
Fill your eyes with comets
That bring you home.

Chorus

Between heaven and earth,
Imagination finds boat.
Riding on your sails,
Sitting next to you.

Chorus

La Cubanita

Sentada sobre la hierba,
La Lacrimosa ve las horas pasar
metidas en las conchas de grises caracoles;

Sitting on the grass,
La Lacrimosa sees the hours pass
Tucked into gray snail shells;
Her eyes shining and dream
Expects to see the future run
On that trail that shines bright in the sun.

Sees rivers of triumph, failure and love,
Nameless waters whispering
Universes tucked into a shell.

How many times has she seen her nanny
Rolling the shells to divine?
How she read air drawings on them
And could know well before anyone else
What the sea would bring them.
But Cuba is now far
Like Grandma and her magic.

Sees rivers of triumph, failure and love,
Nameless waters whispering
Universes tucked into a shell.

Dad works as a waiter, Mom clean floors around town,
La Lacrimosa handles uncovering the secrets of the world.
It´s the good thing of being a child,
There´s no tomorrow to fear.
You are as the snails, innocent,
Scribing shining rivers ahead.

Still hears her grandmother rolling them,
Still remembers the ship that brought them,
Glory only sailing in their eyes
And it may be that was for the best thing.
These are memories to forget, is dust,
Curse of those that escape.
Luckily snails are slow,
They´ll never know rough seas.

Now sees hope of being Robinson,
Sees somewhere to write her story,
And dreams of elusive galaxies.
Sees rivers of triumph, failure and love,
Nameless waters whispering
Universes tucked into a shell.

El Último Vuelo del 38 (The Last Flight of 38)

My Rose:

I write to you one last time to tell you my last adventure, the journey that shall take me away from you forever. I know it's sad not being there to say goodbye but I know you'll understand, wherever you are.

I know that in the last days, I had lost all hope following the allegations of de Gaulle and believed I had lost my prince forever, but fortune has taken me back to him again. Now nobody can get me into more wars and I will only miss flying but I know that here, I will not know more suffering.

If you remember well, I was sent on a mission from Corsica in a P-38 fully disarmed and bound for the south of France. For months, I had been falling into darkness, into the jaws of the snake as hundreds of voices debated whether or not I should resume my life in the skies. To be back in the air was a wonderful feeling but fate had other plans.

It was about twelve o'clock when I heard the sound of an engine behind me. I recognized with horror the silhouette of a Luftwaffe, and tried to lose in the dark as I listened to the terrible hissing of the submachine reaching the plane´s tail. Losing more height, was my doom so I barely noticed when I swallowed by the darkness itself without warning and knew no more. I could have sworn, my Rosa, that it had been a giant snake who swallowed me but, for a long time but I wasn´t one of the inhabitant of this universe. I did not know if a bullet had reached me and I was just sinking in the waters of the Mediterranean.

It was a cold chill that woke me, sudden, wet and enough effective to make me open his eyes and behold before me the silver and full of stars iris of my Little Prince.

I believed myself dead for several minutes but something in his tender smile convinced me that I was still alive. The gritty feel of my fingers made me notice the beach where I was lying and the constellation bathed sky brought back my experience in the Sahara. I was not dead, dear Rose, I was still breathing and somehow in the place where I first met my little friend.
