Y ahora sólo me quedan presencias,
Postales de nuestros tiernos sueños.
Espero saber compensarte.

Y te deseo lo mejor, mi vida,
que corto se me hace el viaje.
¿En qué lugar del cielo estarás?
Pobres de nosotros y nuestro amor
Que se apago justo cuando iba verte.
¿Se habrá apagado la estrella polar?

Y me quedare esperando, reina blanca,
Como Hachiko en aquel anden ciego.
Aún siendo mi vida felicidad y gozo,
No será lo mismo sin ti.

Pero basta de lamentos,
Dedícame al menos, una sonrisa.
Llena de luz esta noche
Que se ha quedado dormida.
Así tal vez te encuentre
Entre la luna y mil un estrellas.

For I now feel so foolish
when I look back at these great years.
What can I want from you anyway?
The flower withered too fast, too soon.

Undoing, solitude thirty days long and
thousands of centuries to wait for you.
At least I want to erase this guilt.

This journey together was heaven,
and how can I live with only shades
and postcards of childhood dreams.
I hope I can make it up to you.

And I wish you the best, love,
for alas, the journey was too short!
In what part of Heaven will you lie?
Poor, poor. Dear our souls and love
that went out on my way to your door.
Has the North Star die out tonight?

White Queen darling, I shall wait,
like Hachiko used to for the train.
Even if my life shall be joy and smile,
I know I have lost something precious.

But no use in crying.
At least, give me a smile.
Shine in this foggy night
that has fallen sleep again.
Then maybe, I shall find you
among Heaven, Moon and stars.

Mientras yo vuelvo a tu puerta,
mi gatita vuelve con su amor.

Esperaba todos los días que Rey Gato
cruzará el umbral con su cálida sonrisa.
Al final, se han ido los dos a casa
y dos mosqueteros lloran su partida.

La princesa se fue. Su sonrisa mostró.
Doña Isabel se fue con su Tenorio
a maullarle a la luna...

Dedicated to my grandmother, one of my three Musketeers and Queen of Rivendell

Some verses of Don Juan flying,
a kitchen, a cross-stitch spinning.
The musketeer sword still mending.

As I walk through the world
the White Queen moves away.
While I am coming to your door
my cat is back with her love again.

She waited every day for King Cat
to walk the threshold with his warm smile.
In the end, both have went home
and two musketeers mourn their departure.

The princess left. Her smile glow away.
Doña Isabel went with her Tenorio
to meow softly the moon...

La Tempestad (The tempest)

Ariel.

Dedicated to one of the greatest masterpieces.

The remains of the ship float adrift
while one is in love with vengeance,
the passion and many other scars.
Shall be the fate of the shipwreck.

And while I hear the voice of Prospero,
Miranda's heart I'm listening to.
Paradise flower stuck in the storm
who shall one day smile.

In the centuries preceding me,
I'll be free. My wind will whistle
then my name.

Ariel.

Penelope

Penelope.

Dedicated to Penelope, daughter of Gianna Nannini, with love.

I am writing without knowing you,
As you could write to a ghost
To the most beautiful dream.

You come to the world in the long night
And dearest us, my child,
Because it will take long before dawn.

But lately I have been
Writing your name in the air,
Making a poem for the moment.

It must be true that we are bit lost
But we´ll find light in the shadows,
And inside silence, music.

Let this little letter cheer your life
As much as I do when I think that
You are in the world.

Penelope.

Scrivo senza conoscere,
come si scrive per un fantasma,
per il sogno più bello.

Venuti al mondo in questa lunga notte
e poveri noi, piccola mia,

tanto quanto me solo per pensare
sei in questo mondo.

Penelope

Ulf (1ª Parte/ First Part)

Ulf

Thousands of voices fill the night.

The house lights dim and everyone goes to sleep. At least that's the way routine of the two legs. The same song every dusk. Luckily, they do not have this routine. Only when there is no choice but otherwise, it never has raised before.

Fern's voice heralds the beginning of NightWatch. Being the older brother and the largest one, he has earned the title of indisputable leader. Not that the others have something against it but also have no desire to discuss it with him.

Everyone gathers around the old elm. Silence. The Maimed is listening to what is happening tonight. Moves his big ears and his nose wrinkles while the hungry Carcajou keeps on drooling. The Sentinel and Garm growl him into silence. A flock of crows fly across the sky. The Maimed smiles. The absent ones are coming.

Fern is bringing his latest capture in his jaws. Behind him, Doria, Elleb and Baku drag a lamb from a nearby farm. The pack is almost complete. The wolves smell the air and begin their round on the asphalt streets, trimmed bushes and houses that suck of human. It doesn´t take long before the last missing members join in. The Maimed who is on Fern´s back listens.

For a long time, they have fun watching the huge Carcajou chase down cats and all living things. For dessert, some remains of trash. Just when they start thinking that this will be a quiet round, Doria growls loudly. Something annoys her, irrites the she wolf. And is hard to drive Doria nuts.

To continue...

El Espíritu del Castillo (The Spirit of the Castle)

Nuestras risas, nuestros susurros,
nuestras palabras son ahora carne.

When the sun comes up, you´ll come back.
When you smile, you can enter.

On hands of stone and lime
we have built a story of life.
The letters are swift ink
on the breeze that leads to the sea.

We caught the fierce wind, rain drops,
the voices that cry out for justice and friendship.
The chapters are roads to travel
under my watchful eye of Paper Moon.

Mix the faded gold of the fleeting summer
the red leaves of the windy fall dancers,
a white winter that can never sleep
and happy spring Carnival of colors.

Recover the echo of ruins of the past
still waiting for forgiveness for its wars and hate.
Perhaps then will come out the veil of a new future
where the storm can clear the fields.

We caught the fierce wind, rain drops,
of those who seek justice and fraternity.
The roads were made only for walking
not to reach places.

Recover the remains of the silent past
the voices that cry out for justice and peace.
Perhaps then the ink can paint a new future.
Our laughter, our whispers
our words have become flesh.

Mi amigo, el Fantasma. Parte III (My friend, the Ghost. Part III)

There are many memorable moments in this small town, regardless of years passed. That night, tucked in a sleeping bag, I thought in silence about the details of my secret mission while the smell of wet earth and fire drenched all the corners of the Old House.

That afternoon, I had discovered that our family once had a film company. What a surprise! Cheers for Mr. Saturnino Ulargui! But before I could celebrate this discovery with a good sleep, an unnatural sound came to my ears.

The ghost?

I peered down the stairs. All my uncles were in the room talking, so they were not. If it was the spirit, then it was best for me to carry a crucifix in hand. Returning to the room, everything was dark. Just great!

Hey look! A crucifix. He seemed to read my thoughts.

"Thank you"
"Nothing" Answered a gentle voice out of nowhere. Okay, now we are all allowed to release a loud cry. And do not doubt that I let out a big one that night.
