Estribillo

The winds remember,
so do rivers sleep.
Those writen stories
are now back for you.

That past that lurks
and hunts down everyday,
I wonder if there is way
away, to free it from say.

I´m so tired of being villain,
the Big Bad Wolf in the alley.
At the Crossroads, Good n Evil
meet as Red Riding Hood and Beast,
to repaint the wretched world again.

I wonder when we stopped
being friends, nobodies in place.

Over my journey, over the running crowds,
where in my heart I´m tears of giants.
Thus our past cannot get us now,
for we shooting stars, flying miles away.

Searching for answers
that are never for free.
The higroads are getting bigger,
my scars are bleeding in stream.

I´m afraid that our meeting is destined
for the world to kill and feed their fear.
But Little Red and I know our song well,
know that a good deed can change the days.
In the Crossroad, Good n Evil smile again,
forgetting for a very long while
who they are, were once upon a time,
and will be some day.

Chorus

I love this poem...your poem. And I like the way you made a mix of languages and thoughts. All my life I´ve been tryng to share english and spanish culture...and I see I am not the only one...This text has been a nice encounter. Espero que siga.

And I am so happy that you liked it, Emilio. I love playing with English and Spanish. If you want, we can play together! Cheers!
